The Importance of Usability
(inspired by this)Usability is a deceptively simple concept that can make or break a user experience. Unfortunately, there is no sure-fire way to know if your site has achieved optimum usability or not. In fact, usability isn't black or white; it's not really gray, either. Usability is more like a rainbow, with your users being the colors.
So what you want to achieve is the "primary colors" of usability, market to the most common types of browsing while allowing those inbetween to still be comfortable. When finished, your site should function like the big three colors, instead of a mushy brown from trying too hard.
